QUESTION: Who succeeded Pharaoh after his death?

ANSWER: The word “Pharaoh” is a general designation previously applied to the rulers of Egypt. It is believed that the Pharaoh who ruled during the time of the Israelite oppression was Ramses II. The Pharaoh reigning at the time of exodus is believed to be Menetaph II, the thirteenth son of Ramses II.
