QUESTION: What do the scriptures teach about the “rapture”?

ANSWER: There is nothing in God’s word about the rapture! It is that part of the false doctrine of “premillennialism” which teaches that Christ is going to come two more times; that between these comings, the church will go “somewhere” to spend seven years with Him (the rapture), while those remaining on earth will be going through a period of great tribulation. This doctrine has no basis in God’s word and will be rejected by the faithful Christian!
