                  1. DESCRIPTION OF SPEAKER.

                        A. Possessed the Spirit without measure. jno. 3:34.
                        B. "Seven Stars"-Rev 1:20-under his authority.

               II.     WHAT IS RIGHT WITH THIS CHURCH? Verse 4.
                        A. Few have not defiled garments.  FEW.
                        B. Only faithful few kept the church going.  Unspotted.
                        C. "They are worthy."

                111.    WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS CHURCH? Verses 1, 2.
                        A. Hast a name that thou livest-DEAD. (As dead faith).
                             Reputation of being alive-unreal. I Tim. 5:6.
                        B. Spiritual death-several          causes.
                        C. Works not perfect, or complete, before God.

               IV.     ADMONITION. Verses 2, 3.
                        A. Be watchful.  Acts. 13:37; I Cor. 16:13.
                        B. Strengthen the things which remain.  Strong members have
                            much responsibility.
                        C. "Remember"-"Hold fast."
                        D. Repent.  Lk. 13:3; Acts 17:30.

                 V. THREAT.  Verse 3.
                     A. "If thou shalt not watch."
                     B. Come secretly and suddenly.

        VI.  PROMISED REWARD. Verses 4, 5.
             A. Walk with me in white.  Rev. 7:14.
             B. Will not blot out his name.  Phil. 4:3; Rev. 20:12; Rev. 22:
                 19.
             C. Will confess His name before my Father.
